The Isle of Arran is very accessible being only 2 hours travel from Glasgow. This page gives more information on what to expect when you arrive for your holiday. How to Get Here
The Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) ferry to the Isle of Arran leaves from Ardrossan, North Ayrshire and arrives in Brodick. There is a smaller ferry crossing from Cloanaig in Kintyre to Lochranza in the north of Arran. Visit Caledonian MacBrayne's website www.calmac.co.uk for all timetable and booking information. It is strongly advised that you book your vehicle in advance to be sure of getting the ferry crossing of your choice on the Ardrossan to Brodick route.
'Skirza' can be found in the centre of Brodick just a few minutes by car or 10-15 minutes on foot from the ferry terminal. See the Location page on this website for details. Keys for Skirza will be arranged with you in advance of your holiday.
Keys
When the final payment for your holiday is made you will receive an email confirming the payment and giving you information on how to access the keys to 'Skirza'.
Change-over Day
Change-over day is Saturday. Access to 'Skirza' is from 4pm on the day of your arrival, with departures before 10am.
Bed Linen and Towels
Bed linen and hand/bath towels are provided and inclusive in the price of your holiday. A change of bed linen is available for stays of longer than one week. Please bring your own beach/lounging towels with you. Please bring infant travel cots and linen with you.

To get you started when you arrive the following will be waiting for you:

WiFi is available for your use during your holiday. There is no password required, simply look for available networks and choose BT-XNCK5F.
Mobile Phone Signal
The mobile signal on Arran is extremely variable so we suggest that while in the house you position your mobile near one of the windows to avoid missing any calls.
Bars/Restaurants
As 'Skirza' is situated in the centre of the village, bars, restaurants and tearooms are all within walking distance.
Shopping
There is a large Co-op in Brodick near the ferry terminal with a smaller store in the centre of the village. Petrol is available at the ferry terminal in Brodick.
Pets
No pets are allowed in the property.
Smoking
'Skirza' is a smokeless home, so please smoke outdoors.
